Meteorological drought is a climatic condition categorized by scarcity of rainfall. Understanding the characteristics significant step appointed uncertain climate conditions due to current global change. This study aims assess duration and frequency using Normal Precipitation Index (PNPI) method identify in area. The PNPI revealed spatial variation percent value monthly rainfall average across island Lombok that prolonged severe droughts have occurred entire areas with varying frequency. analyzing events showed Sopak driest area Sekotong wettest one
